Ikusi is one of the technical teams, which have allowed spectators from all over the world to enjoy the 2015 European Games in the comfort of their own living rooms. This multi-sport event, which is comparable to the  Asian or Panamerican Games, took place for the first time in Baku between the 12th and 28th of June.

Ikusi participated on two fronts. Firstly, Ikusi was responsible for the distribution of signal to journalists in the commentary boxes, both in the central stadium and the 15 other venues, and secondly we were responsible for the distribution of the television signal to different offices and event rooms at each venue.

This proved to be a challenge requiring engineering expertise in the design of optic links, the configuration of digital headends in IP and COFDM format and the distribution networks to enable the TV transmission to the different receptors located throughout the sports complexes.

This new project consolidates Ikusi's position as a company which specializes in the design and development of solutions for the management and  processing of video and TV signal for TV operators and important installers and integrators.

These first European Games have involved the participation of more than 6000 athletes from 50 national Olympic committees, who competed in 20 disciplines.
